11/13/2009 - westbury bank hires Amanda Palubicki
November 13, 2009 – West Bend, WI – westbury bank, a Southeastern Wisconsin-based bank, announced today that Amanda Palubicki has joined the bank as an Internal Auditor. Her responsibilities will include testing internal controls to ensure that the financial statements are accurate and the bank is compliant with all regulations. She also oversees audits at all branches and then presents the findings and recommends changes to management and the Board of Directors in order to reduce the bank’s risk of fraud and misstated financial statements.
“Amanda’s previous experience as well as her great attitude will be very valuable to westbury bank,” said President Jim Podewils.
Prior to joining westbury bank Palubicki worked as an Assurance Associate at McGladrey & Pullen. In that role she assisted in completing financial statement audits for financial institutions.
Palubicki graduated in 2005 from UW-Madison with a degree in Economics. She then went on to obtain her Master’s in Accounting from UW-Whitewater in 2008. She has also completed all four parts of the CPA exam and will be receiving her license in December of 2009.
