West Bend, Wis, May 10, 2010 – westbury bank has announced they will continue to be the title sponsor of Enchantment in the Park through the 2011 holiday season. With over 340,000 lights, Enchantment in the Park was introduced to Washington and surrounding counties last November as one of the area’s premier holiday light displays.
“westbury bank is very proud to be sponsoring such a meaningful event for Southeastern Wisconsin.” says Ray Lipman, CEO of westbury bank. “Events like these are important for our communities. It’s an opportunity to share the beauty of the holiday season together and to help those in need. Our participation in Enchantment in the Park is important to our employees and to the friends and families in our neighborhoods.”
The primary mission of Enchantment in the Park is to feed the hungry with donations from families who enjoy the enchantment of the holiday light show and Santa’s Village. Last year, participants donated over 48,000 non-perishable food items, more than doubling the goal for its first year. Non-perishable food items were distributed to several food pantries throughout Washington County.
The 2010 Enchantment in the Park Holiday Light Show is scheduled to begin the day after Thanksgiving and run through the end of December at the Washington County Fair Park.
